Life is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you’re going to get. In fact, we feel hopeful about the future just because of this uncertainty. However, the future is also in our hands. We’ve come all the way along, stumbling and wriggling, and are sure to reach the destination so long as we are persistent. Therefore, to us the future is unknown and known at the same time.
If life is compared to a journey, I’ve already set forth on it. The year 2016 was one full of challenge, when I entered an unfamiliar environment, mixing and growing in an atmosphere of caring for each other and creating delightfulness. I tried to be a person of thought, reaching the goal by breaking it down into sub-goals and solving them one by one. I got to know a group of fellow staff members with dreams who shared the same aspiration and purpose, making progress together by mutual encouragement and learning. For the first time in life I celebrated my birthday in the company, feeling the caring love. My first business trip was a test of my thoughtfulness and scheduling ability. I learned how to capture the trends of development, broadening my horizon and expanding my capabilities in various fields. Through setting up a new department, I accustomed myself to working independently as well as cooperating with other group members. As for self-cognition and self-learning, I promoted my competences in different dimensions, intelligently and emotionally alike, through reading and personal communication. Decomposing the job into smaller assignments, I learned to summarize and reflect on my work, accumulated experiences and avoided twists and turns, in the process of fulfilling these assignments. As for team building, I enhanced the cohesion with other members of the organization and cultivated my team spirit by participating in group activities such as spring and autumn outings. I was moved into tears during the two annual meetings I took part in, and was since then more determined to make further progress.
I wish I could go ahead braving all hardships in 2017. I’m fully aware that the way to success is never smooth. In every moment, I’m ready for new challenges and trials. In 2017, I shall continue the journey with CNOOD.
Below is a photo of fellow staff members who joined CNOOD in 2016. I wish that time stopped passing, and that we never separated.
